How far is Saba from the USA or Canada ?
The pearl of the Caribbean; Saba is near the island Sint Maarten (SXM). It’s only a 12 minutes flight from Sint Maarten to Saba. By boat it takes about 1 hour. There are direct flights from Miami, New York and Toronto etc… to Sint Maarten. From Toronto it’s about 4 1/2 hours.
hiking – The Tide Pools
It’s a short hike, but it’s so beautiful. Hiking between the rocks above the shallow water. Above the tide pools with small fishes, crabs…..it’s amazing. It’s starts near the “airport” The Tide Pools are one of our favorite hikes.

New harbour on Saba. Rijkswaterstaat ( part of the Government) got € 28.500.000 to built a new harbour for big yachts and bigger ships.
